I was directed to this forum by someone on Laughingplace when I posted about a VMK problem I've been having.
For the last 3 months, whenever I try to enter a land in VMK, within 2-3 seconds, I get the hourglass symbol and then VMK crashes. Microsoft says it's a problem with Shockwave, however, I have the latest version of Shockwave and I did a clean re-install to make sure. I have plenty of memory and a DSL connection. I have had basically the same problem using the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Firefox.
As long as I just stay in my VMK room or the VMK map, there is no crashing.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? What did you do?
I have tried contacting VMK support (over 34 times now, about once every 3 days), but I have received absolutely no help. I did receive a list of 3 questions about a month ago by e-mail from customer support, but I have heard nothing back since I sent my answers.
