VMK cards expiry date Sept 30 2006?

Hi,
Just returned from WDW and got a bunch of vmk cards but most of them has Sept 30th 2006 expiry date, does anybody know if that holds true?

I mean on Oct 1st if I type in the codes would they not work?

I'm just curious. TIA!

Rumour has it that the expiry dates hold true . They wont be usable after that date. I would start entering codes if i were you

This is indeed the $64 million question of the month. No one knows for sure, but this thread is the best any of us know.

Would be great for a vmk announcement on the homepage about this - but for right now - it seems to be a gamble.

Huh? I thought that only the retired quests/cards were in danger of expiring? Drat, I have way too many cards I need to enter in two weeks time. Guess I know what I might be doing this weekend.

Here's a question that deals with this expiration date.

Ok all these cards are expiring at the end of the month.

Will the cards issued after Oct. 1st have a new expiration date?
This is a questions for the in park quest cards for the regular quests (frontierland,fantasyland) and the special in park quest (high school musical, thrillseeker). Or will they retire these quest and have new questions?

She also informed me that they are working on getting updated cards out.

As she states though, it is best to use the codes as you get them.

I wish rooms were tradeable then I would enter them anyway
