VMK Buddies!!! -Update on first post!!-

Sounds perfect to me! You could run it June 19th (after Father's Day in case ppl arent on line) through July 19th. Just looking at the calendar. That gives a few days to get ppl involved and still start up while the interest is strong.

Do you want to have a credits range so that people are receiving sort of the same range of gifts or just a "whatever goes" system? That's the only other thing I think should be pre-set.

This will be fun!

How about we set it as a 1 month thing? like 4 gift exchanges (1 every week ) and at the end of the month we reveal!

So maybe we should start at the beginning of July? or maybe have it or three weeks this time?

Iwas thinking the same thing like lets say someone got Inferno for someone what if all they got back was a narnia lamp post???

So maybe it shoul be like.... worth 500 credits and up? or maybe 800 and up?

Count me in! I always loved Secret Santas in Junior High (aka Middle School- dating myself).

I think if someone is going to be generous to give inferno ( if you're my SB), they aren't expecting something of equal value back. They are just a very generous person and probably know the buddy they have does not have that magic.

I have credits, so I don't have a problem with your minimum's, but since I'm new I'd love getting something retired or beta (haven't figured out that one yet) so how do you put credit value on rare? Not looking for an answer on that, just thought.

I like the idea of a month long, at least once/week gifting with the minimum being a total package, or final gift amount, so if someone wants to give more smaller stuff they could, or is that just clutter for those of you who've been here a year? I suppose it depends on your buddy.

I think the key is to just set a minimum, not worry about if someone wants to be overly generous. That's their choice to do so. We just want to make sure someone is not getting, for example, a basic t-shirt each week.

It might also be a great idea to have everyone who wants to participate fill out a form of their likes and secret vmk item wishes. This way, their secret gifter could have an idea of what they like. If you want help with this - since it seems I have been titled co-planner, let me know. happy to help.

Count me in! This sounds too fun to pass up. Had to pass on it in December because I had next to no credits on my main account (only one I had at the time) and not enough time to play games very often. My fireworks addiction will come in handy for this, I suppose!

i no that you shouldn't post to your own post, but i was reading through the thread and i saw your first meet was on june 19!!! what if you did it every weekend instead? i am out of school but i have testing and dance class on the 19!! plz consider the weekends instead (although i suppose that it's summer vacation in a week).
