VMK Ban Crazy

Its funny the past couple of days...I haven't really been on ....I come back and I have a ton of messages from friends that are on the same fan sites as me .....and like three of them are banned. Its crazy....maybe I am glad I haven't been on in awhile One of the people that messaged me isn't really a close friend...but someone that I occasionally talk to so I don' t really know how he acts on vmk...but he said that he was banned because of adult behavior. LOL HMM I wonder what he was doing LOL. Anyways...its getting really scary with this ban thing....I mean I don't normally do anything that I should get banned for.....at least I don't think.. So really I shouldn't worry...but who knows. Anyways...I just wanted to see if any of you have noticed an unusual amount of banning this week.......hmm I am scared to log on...lol Talk to you all soon !!!

I have noticed the same thing. One person was banned for a week for saying she is disabled. I do not get that. I understand you need to watch your talk regarding where you live etc. But how would knowing someone is disabled going to help a bad person find them.
I myself was banned for a day for 'adult behavior'. I asked a friend and his wife if he has to trade for stuff at home too (as he is a 'trade master). WAM! Banned. I don't know what VMK thought I was referring to but that was way off.
I too am fearful to speak in VMK now, for fear they will (again) take something the wrong way. It's madness!

i got banned for a valid reason, i guess, i told someone my im name forgetting about the rules...i got banned for ten years! i can see a month but this is just dumb! i mean i am 20 yrs old, i think i learned my lesson....they even said that i had warnings when i clearly never did! this is so lame!

Yup I sure have! The 10 year ban is retarded! I mean if they ban someone for something and they continue to do it, well then yea ban them for 10 years, but with no previous bans or warnings, its ridiculous!

It does seem like they've gone overboard with the bans lately. They really need to start doign the "investigate BEFORE banning" technique. I wonder how this is affecting those trying to become CLs...if this is hurting their "record" at all.

As a note on warnings before bans, here is a warning. A friend of mine was warned on something she said in a game of Mansion, it was a 1 on 1 game against another friend, she said something and then said that it came out wrong. a warning poped up and said yes it did come out wrong. So they do watch closely at times I am not sure what criteria they use to watch close but be very carefull.

hmm all this talk is making me think about using a mule for storage of some rare items in case my account ever gets banned lol FOR TEN YEARS! lol that is to funny.....Come back in ten years and log in to vmk lol
