VMK Abroad

I'm going to be going on a study abroad trip to Ireland for the upcoming semester, and I'm wondering whether VMK works over there. I would pack it in my suitcase, but I need a bigger bag .

Does VMK work abroad? Will it work over in Ireland? I need the computer saavy members of the Dis or the well traveled members to help me out.

Well - It works fine for me in England and fine for Spongeblair up in Scotland, so I guess it works.

The only problem I encountered when I was in the U.K. last year was trying to access VMK at some Internet Cafes. Many of them did not have Flash installed on their computers, and users could not download and install it themselves. I had to try several different places (in both London and Edinburgh) before I found ones that would work.

Hadn't seen this when we were discussing it in game. It's not so much if the country you are in can access VMK as it is "What's the internet access?"

If you are taking your own computer with Shockwave and VMK installed, the only issue is really internet connectivity.

Yup as Lightningz said it works fine for me but I laready have the flash and other things installed. Remember you won't get on VMK until 3 p.m. though and closes at 5 a.m. I think

Well I live in Ireland and I can tell you 100% that VMK does indeed work here! Like the others before me have said it may require flash etc etc but it def does work.

VMK opens here at 3pm so there is a long wait if you get bored during the day (which I often do at work )

Sooooo true, on both accounts. And those castles - nothing in the States even comes close!

i live in london england and it works fine. and my friends use it lol
when u do arrive tho, dont forget that for the UK and Eire VMK opens at 3pm lol
