VIVO or Mama Della?

We're doing one of them. Anyone prefer one over the other? We're staying at Portofino. As far as location goes they both have their advantages.

There will be 6 of us. Ages 13 up to 40 something.

Vivo is far superior.

They make all their own pasta and sauces, Mamma Della and Bice for that matter both tasted very artificial to us, almost like Olive Garden which we didn`t like either.

Vivo just seems to be of a consistently high standard and we`ve never been disappointed with any dish there, and I don`t really like Italian food, I rarely eat pasta but we do enjoy all our visits there.

Vivo has very good Italian food and is a good fit for a large party because they have lots of variety on the menu from pizza to risotto to steaks and their tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever had. Mama Della is ok but we like Vivo better and don’t bother with Bice it’s way overpriced and so not worth it.
