Well
I just found out that the Saturday we were planning to go to Seaworld is on the weekend of Viva La Musica Festival at Seaworld (May 7th).

Does anyone think we should try to go the Friday May 6th and go to MGM studios on Sat. May 7th instead?

Help! We are two families with 7 kids ages 2-12 and don't want to stuck in big crowds if we can help it! My friend thinks it sounds fun to go then...but I would rather not be waiting in lines for the rides and shows etc..

:sad2:

Ride lines might be a little longer but try to do them when the shows are going on and they shouldn't be bad. There really aren't lines for any of the shows. You just arrive about 10-15 minutes before a show and find a seat in the stadiums. When we were there for the country concerts we didn't even have time to do anything but a couple shows and eat. We were in the area where they had stages set up for continuous entertainment or over in the stadium waiting to get seats or at a concert for most of the day. If the Vivala Musica is ran the same way, the people there for that should not be a problem for people there just to see Sea world regular shows and activities.

I've been to Viva La Musica many times and they do draw a huge crowd during the festival. There are many diversions to normal park attractions. There is an area that serves great Latino food by the penguin display. There is also an outdoor stage with entertainment all day nearby. Many people attend both concerts at the stadium. One is at 2 and the other 6 so few people will be at the other attractions during these times. The Shamu Rocks show at the end of the day is quite busy.

Friday will have lighter crowds. If you are not interested in the festival itself, I would go on Friday.

Thanks!

We just switched days, so we will go to SW on Monday, instead of during Viva La Musica, and we will go to Discovery as the final'e of our trip!
