Hiya,

It's been suggested to me that I might want to try taking vitamin B12 as an energy booster, which I sorely need. In researching this vitamin an interesting bit of information surfaced, that the pill form of the vitamin is sort of a waste of time to take, as the body won't process most of it, and it ends up being flushed. (sources: http://www.nutrasanus.com/vitamin-b12.html, http://dietary-supplements.info.nih.gov/factsheets/vitaminb12.asp) So! I'm wondering if any of you have tried the following...

...as an alternative to the pill form. I can't stand cherry flavored anything, but if any of you have ever taken a vitamin B pill of any kind, you probably know that anything will taste better than that! :crazy2:

So! If anyone's taken this (type of thing) and has a "review" of it for me, I would be very grateful! The other alternative is injections, and I don't want to do that!!

Thanks! :grouphug:

I can reccommend floradix. It tates great, and covers more than B12.

Thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2

Hmm, Floradix looks like it has iron; I have very high iron, does it come without? I wonder if the health food store downtown carries it...

I bit the bullet and got the liquid B12; it was available at the Walgreens within spittin' distance of my workplace and wasn't too expensive. I had to gather up all my courage before sucking down a TBSP full, but it actually wasn't that bad! :thumbsup2 I was expecting something like cough syrup, but it wasn't nearly that strong. Whew! I think I can handle this ;)

I take a isotonic b12 (powder form) which is supposed to be the best way to take vitamins. I buy mine on the web at shopthehub dot net My mom has a vitamin b12 deficiency and was getting shots until her dr recommended she try this stuff and she has done great with it. I now take all my vitamins in isotonic form now. Good luck!
