Vistana Villages

We are planning to spend either six or eight nights doing Seaworld/Universal/I-Drive area attractions in August. We will move on to Pop later during the vacations so really don't plan on visiting WDW duringt the first part. I am not planning on renting a car during this week. I really like the look of Vistana Villages and it seems that there is an Iridetrolley stop near it. Does anyone have first hand knowledge on whether this is the case and on how frequent/reliable the trolley is for visiting the I-drive area? Approx. how long does it take to get places?

Would really appreciate some information about this as reliable transportation is one of the main factors in my decision.

I spent a week at the vistana villages for my honeymoon before switching to disney. We rode the itrolly when we were there everyday. the stop is a short walk from the villages. It took 10 min to 15 to get most places. I think it was a great location! You can also walk to the outlets which we did every morning for starbucks!! The resort it self is beautiful! Enjoy! You wont be disappointed!

It is also an easy walk to Publix supermarket, drug store, Chinese food, liquor store, etc. Very nice resort.

Thank you so much! This is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Sounds like Vistana Villages would work great for our purposes - will definitely look into booking there.
