Vistana villages - worth these sacrifices?

If you are from the UK - then I agree with what Sammie said - get a car. It really is easier than you think.

Secondly if your BF wants to walk to a bar/restaurant on I-Drive every night then he will be dissappointed at VV because the trolley is ok now and again but not several times a day. VV is a long way down I-Drive, well past Seaworld.

Having said that VV is a good choice but you really need a car. You will be sick of waiting for buses etc from getting to/from Disney to want to do it all again at nite. Not much of a bar or restaurant on site at VV.

Thanks, I imagine we will rent a car actually. It's not something I've considered before but maybe I can manage. I'm a bit nervous about it though, I seem to see so many accidents up and down I'drive.

you can order grocery and what he likes to drink - scotch, vodka or whatever...

plus for a night or two - get a taxi and go to PI (it is around 5 miles)

Thank you for this, I'll check that out, I was wondering about ordering groceries.
We are staying in disney for a few days after VV so we will visit disney then, which is why we weren't too concerned about having a car as we usually stay on I'drive and get the I'trolley around anyway. But actually a car seems a good idea now I'm thinking about it more.

I just received an offer today for Vistana Villages...too good to pass up I think? How far is it from WDW? A rental car would be needed for sure, but was wondering on the traffic etc...
