Vistana Villages, Summerfield suites LBV or HIFS????

Please help, I just canceled my room at Quality suites main gate east because of some bad reviews. I do not know which of the above hotels I should stay at? Can anyone please give me any info on any of these hotels.. This is for a group of 10 people.

Vistana- 2 bedroom suite $1,058
Sumerfield- 2 bedroom suite $804
HIFS- I will need 2 rooms- $1,616

I am not sure about the others but we have stayed at the Summerfield Suites several time and have always enjoyed it. have stayed at both the LBV location and the I-Drive and both are fine. Have a great cont. breakfast which we always took back to out room. Has a full kitchen which is really nice for snacks and freezing bottled water for WDW. If you have any specific ?? I will be glad to try to answer them.

I failed to mention that was for a 6 night stay. How were the room at Summerfield? Clean? Are stores or resturants near the hotel. The Summerfield was the one I was leaning toward. Do you know if they have rollerway beds?

We stayed at summerfield suites in March. The 2 bdrm is great...but I'm not sure how great it would be for 10 people..we had 6 2 adults and 4 kids under 12...The rooms were clean and the contential breakfest waswonderful.

I'm not sure where you would put 4 extra people. They are 2 bdrm suites but definately not enough room for 4 rollway beds.

You might be able to get the room a little cheaper at the 21day mark. If you join wyndam they let you book rooms at high discounts usually under $100 per night for a 2 bdrm.

I suggest booking and then rebooking at the 21day mark..but I don't suggest trying to put 10 people in a 2 bdrm...

I'll be curious to know what you pick...I am leaning towards Summerfield too...
We are a group of 9....I was told that the 2 bedroom...villa
is 1st bed King, 2nd 2 double beds and then a pull out sofa..I think we will have trouble with 9 but I was quoted a rate of $129.00 when are you going...we are also condsidering Embassy Suites LBV and HIFS too...

For only $200 difference, I really believe that the Villages is the way to go but I thought the max. occupancy for the 2 bedroom was 8. Doing a search at the dollar.com website will give you some pictures of the Vistana Villages that you do not see elsewhere. They are close to a Publix and other shopping. Pool is great for all age groups and I believe it is great value for the dollars you would pay.

We didn't use the pull out sofa in the living room so I didn't realize it was a bed. But adding to additonal people unless you have lots of little kids would be tight....But it is a wonderful hotel and very near WDW

Vistana Villages is a nice resort with a big pool (part of which is zero entry). The 2 bedroom villa is spacious with a tv in each bedroom as well as the livingroom. There are 2 bathrooms and there is a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom. The resort is located toward the south end of International Drive which is very quiet. It is close to everything if you are driving but not really within walking distance of anything (I'm thinking restaurants and shops). You do, however have the advantage of the I-Ride trolley which takes you anywhere along International Drive.

With 10 people to accomodate, however, why don't you look into renting a house. There are many near WDW and you can get a huge place (4,5,6 bedrooms) for an affordable price. Most of them have their own screened-in pool. This, IMO, would be a much more pleasant alternative to any of the places you mentioned. After all it is not even a question of on-site or off so why not go for space and comfort?

we stayed at the vistana villages in Aug/Sept2002. It is beautiful.We did get a great deal and would definetly go back. It was pretty central located to everything.
