Are there any special requests for location I should ask for?
closest shopping? Publix, Super Target?

Not certain why location would make a difference in proximity to shopping -- there's a Publix not far from the main entrance, but I wouldn't recommend walking.

The newest rooms are slightly nice than the older rooms, but a BIG trade off is the fact that the lake hasn't been fully "developed" yet. Stick to the older sections for more scenic views, as well as a walkway around the lake leading to the pool.

Last year we stayed in the Keys section and it was pretty quiet over there. It had its own splash pool, big pool, whirlpool and clubhouse. You had to walk about maybe 5 minutes (if that) to get to the main area pools and such.

Publix down the street a ways so you would have to take the bus or a car to get there.

We're in building 11, in the Key West section right now It's a good spot, not long to the main pool or activities center.

Publix is about a half-mile away from the resort, as is Walgreens. You'll get directions to SuperWalmart at check-in, but the Publix is closest to the resort, I think.
