Vistana Village

This is a last minute vacation for us and DH doesn't want to spend too much $$$$ to stay onsite. Since we now have DS I'm thinking a timeshare resort might be more spacious for us and definetely less expensive than an onsite hotel.

I got a price quote for $774 for a two-bedroom villa at Vistana Village through all ears discount. Unfortunately, this is for a smoking room. With an infant, I'm not too thrilled about this.

Just how smokey are the smoking rooms??? Can you tell?? I'm debating if I should reserve it.

Also, just how close is this resort to WDW????

Vistana does not have non-smoking.

So I would think you would be fine.

Vistana has some strange atitudes - OKW started out half smoking, half non-smoking - now it is 95% non-smoking, and only 5% smoking.

I am staying at the Sheraton's Vistana Resort - and I am allergic to smoke - it causes me asmtha - so I am a little worry - but that is a good rate - I would go with it

We just returned from the Vistana Villages on Sep 21. We had a 2BR villa and we never smelled anything at all. The room we had was 100 percent exactly like the website photos.

It is situated on the very quiet end of IDrive right by the intersection of Vineland. It was convenient to take IDrive to 536 and then right into the parks. If you are familiar with the Marriott Orlando World Center, it took us about 8 minutes from the time we passed the MOWC to get to the Villages. Very little traffic going to the parks this way. Go north on IDrive or take Vineland to find any kind of reataurant imaginable. For more information I posted a trip report about the Vistana Villages on the trip report board.

Goofygal531, I thought All Ears booked Vistana Resort. Do they book Vistana Villages also?
