Vistana "Smell of Rooms"

Leaving in about a month for Vistana. I understand they do not have such a thing as a non-smoking room. But DH and DS are allergic to cigarette smoke. Just curious if the rooms smell of such????

when you fill in your form for the diamond lane request - mention that your family has an allergy to smoking.

I did - even in Thankgiving week got an older unit in Springs. But it didn't set off any of my allergies.

also remember to mention this at the front desk!

I am very sensitive to odors. We've been going to Vistana for ten years and I've never noticed any smoky smell.

We justed returned from vistana and no smell at all.

i am at Vistana right now and there are no smells but you can arrange for them to put an ozone machine in the unit before they come to purify it. at least i think it is called an ozone machine. just call customer relations and tell them what you want and then put it in the diamond request too. even though i used the diamond lane, i called also. It turned out that the customer service rep was better at getting me what i wanted than diamond lane. He put it right in the computer. by the way i am using my husband's lap top and the keyboard is not as good as mine so excuse typos

I've been staying at Vistana for over a decade and never had even so much as a hint of smoke smell. They must do a really good job of deoderizing.
