I recieved an offer in the mail for 4 nights at the Vistana for $199.00 one bedroom or for $20.00 more per night we can upgrade to a two bedroom. Is this a good deal? It doesn't say you have to go to a time share presentation anywhere that I can see. Also, when I asked about a date in 2008 the guy said they aren't booking in 2008 yet. Then when I went to their website and tried to book (and see what the normal rate is) it says no rooms available??? Anyone know anything about these offers? We have not been in Orlando for a few years now except before or after a cruise for a night or two and both times we stayed in Downtown Disney so I am out of the loop on where a good place to stay is and also the rates. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

bumping. Has anyone stayed here lately? I did a search but alot of the postings are old.

If it's the Lake Buena Vista timeshare ones, I've stayed there a couple times and thought they were nice, but the last visit was 7 years ago.

We stayed there this past April in the Fountains II Section. We thought it was very nice and would love to go there again. I won it on skyauction and dind't have any timeshare presentation to go thru so I can't answer anything about that. But I'd definetely go if I go an offer like yours. HTH

Thanks for the replies. I have been reading old threads and I am a liitle concerned about the shabbiness of some units. Also is there a resort and a village or are they one in the same?

They are two separate places, the Resort & the Village. I've only been there once and no expert but I've read this countless times on here...they aren't going to send you a deal like this then put you in a shabby room. They are doing this to sell timeshares so I think you can stop worrying about being placed in a shabby room, I mean they want to impress you not turn you off. I think you'll be fine.
