Which would you choose for a 2 bedroom? Pros/cons?

We have stayed at both of these resorts. We stayed at Cypress Pointe in 1997. This was while they were building the new section so we were in the older section. It was very nice. It was quiet and had a nice location near the crossroads shopping center. They are both nearest to the Hotel Plaza Blvd entrance to WDW, however Cypress Pointe is closer.

We did not have as good an experience with Vistana. We stayed in an older part in 1999. It was not that clean or nice. There was more to do at Vistana, more pools, more people and activities I guess but still not as good of an experience.

good luck!

My vote goes to Cypress Pointe!:D

We've been staying there for the past 10 years and everytime we goes it only gets better!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

We just returned from a 3bdr, 3 bath unit, and we enjoyed the space. The room was very clean, and the kitchen things all looked brand new. The pool was very warm, and while the volcano pool was a little hoaxy, my kids, 11, 9, and 6 enjoyed it. While I have not stayed at Vistana, we have stayed at many other hotels, and found the extra room very nice.

I've booked a 3br in October in the older area. I hope that it is okay as well. From some previous threads it seems that they are both nice places to stay.

We stayed at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas this past July and had a wonderful experience. So great that I doubt we will ever stay onsite (at least for the entire trip) again.

I've never stayed at Vistana, but have read wonderful reviews from there as well.

I think once you get used to all the space that these villas have to offer, its hard to go back to staying in a small hotel room again. Particularly if you have a family. Perhaps when my boys get older and its just me and DH I'll consider a hotel room again, but until then, I need a washer & dryer, full kitchen, second bedroom, etc. :)

i've never stayed at these but i can recommend hampton Lakes, just mins from the 192 and 12 min from disney, take a look at the vills being advertised on dis auctions it looks lovely and the rate is good.

My vote is for Cypress Pointe Grand Villas - we just returned from there on Saturday and would stay there again in a heart beat. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit. Plenty of space - nice to have the kitchen (very useful).
The location was excellent - right on SR535 - in the heart of everything - only a 2 minute ride to the entrance into the Disney World Road - Downtown Disney about 5 minutes away - 15 minutes to Magic Kingdom - doesn't get much better than this.

Enjoy your trip!!!
