Vistana experts - need your help please!

Hi friends. Looking to book another week at SVR this fall. Hooray! 2 questions:

1. Do you know which phases check in on which days? (fri/Sat/Sun)? Or is there a link/resource you can refer me to? I saw a map with fri/sat/sun check-ins on tugbbs, but it was from 2009 I think - not sure if it's still accurate.

2. Would love your thoughts/recommendations on favorite phases of the resort. Last year we stayed in the Falls and we loved it - quiet but close to the pool and mini golf We would stay there again but I think Falls is a Friday check in, and I think we need to arrive on Sat or Sun.

It will be me, DH, and 5yo DD. Our biggest wishes would be quiet, and walking distance to a pool. Would also love a water view.

Hi Mrs I!

Many, many questions about Vistana are answered on the main Vistana thread here: http://www.disboards.com/threads/the-sheraton-vistana-resort-thread.3148502/ In post #2 of that thread you will find a link to the resort map on the Vistana site (just updated yesterday, hopefully working correctly again). The map now shows the checkin dates for all of the sections, and the days for the various buildings are color-coded. You will be happy to know that Falls is still an option you are arriving Sunday. Spas is the Friday only section.

If you liked Falls (Sun), you would also like Courts (Sat) and Spas (Fri) as they all have good proximity to the South side amenities. From there the section density starts to rise (possibly less quiet), and the proximity to noisy roadways increases; although most units throughout the resort are still pretty peaceful. Don't write off the North side of the resort either. The mix of amenities is a bit different (although you can use either side) but it is still a great destination!
