We have family members meeting us at WDW. My question is- will they be able to come back with us to the hotel to use the pool with us? They are staying off site and plan on leaving each night but since we plan on taking breaks during the day, to eat, swim, etc. we want to all be together. Is this possible? Didn't know if we could use the boat to go to Disney downtown on a night for dinner and shopping. Could we all use the bus to go back to WDW park (epcot, animal kingdom or magic kingdom)? This is all of our first time going. Any advise is helpful. Thank you. :confused3

Pools are reserved for guests of the hotel, not guests of guests. The policy isn't always enforced, some posters claimed to have asked for permission. This is more of an issue at the themed pool at resorts that are convenient to a theme park. SAB at the BC/YC and the Volcano pool at the POLY are two pools that check.

The pools aren't large enough to accomodate guests of guests.

They won't have a problem with transportation.

if you check with the front desk they will let them...I have never heard of them saying no.My parents came to visit us one time and they even let me leave them a key and told them to feel free to use the pool...

We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. I am mainly concerned about the boat or bus trips with them being able to go with us back and forth. I am glad to hear that is no problem. They plan on meeting us in the morning and leaving from our hotel. So I am really happy to hear we can all stick together. As far as swimming goes, it is only for one little girl- my niece so not to worried then. Not even sure if we will have time but just in case. Thank you again.

The busses and boats are for anyone to use. They don't check IDs to see if you're staying at any particular resort. Won't be a problem :)

I would check at the resort when you check in. Signs are posted that the pool is for resort guests only.

I have family that lives about an hour away and they're planning on coming up and visit to do dinner with us one night during our stay. Since myself and my DS5 are on the dining plan, would they just cut the bill 2 days or whatever? Would they be able to park at our resort for free? Or could they drive us around and park for free as long as I show my pass?
