Visitors at BLT?

We will be staying at BLT in a little over a week. We had enough points to have some family members join us, although they will be staying at OKW. Since this is our first stay as DVC members I was wondering if it would be okay to show the family members our resort room and the grounds? We are planning to go to MK together and they asked if they could come over and see what BLT looks like and freshen up in our room. Would this be okay?

Sure they can visit. You might not be able to take them to the top of the world lounge but they can wander the grounds and go to your room.

All it takes to get into the pool is a room key to open the gate. Once its open 100 people can walk in.

Officially no they are not able to use the BLT pool. You can however swim at OKW with them.

Has anyone had any luck taking guests up to the lounge at bthe top?...We will be there on my sons 18th and have a family of 5 who are friends we would like to bring up if it is possible?

We were there July 24-31. We had friends from Dunedin come over to visit. The CM on the first floor just checked one of our cards and all of us went up. Not crowded at all and we went at 9:50pm. A few nights later with just the 4 of us, the CM checked every single card. Not crowded that night either. It is the luck of the draw.

We were there just last week and we only had to show one card, both times.

However, I did hear someone on the deck mention having to show all the cards so as PP stated, it seems to be the CM discretion as to what they want to see.

If you're booked on DVC points or on cash reservation made through Member Services for a 2 bedroom villa at BLT you can add your 5 friends to your reservation for that particular date if it does not exceed total guests capacity(9) for 2br & then those friends would all be issued a BLT KTTW card of their own BUT if your family will be on Disney Dining Plan that would mean your friends would also have to purchase dining plan too for total number of days on your reservation (not just the date or dates you would be listing them on reservation).

really think it depends on the CM - have done it once - 2 guests and no problems.

the fireworks from TOW is worth it!
