Just as long as you can add the ticket numbers to your MDX account.
(That would be true of any authorized ticket reseller.)
The "FP+ 60 days in advance" is directly related to staying at a WDW resort.

However, I can't get the TICKETS listing from visitorlando.com to load on my computer... at all!

Getting free magic bands is only dependent on staying at an onsite resort - it doesn't require booking a package.

The guest doesn't even need to have ANY kind of ticket at all.
"Free" MagicBands are directly a resort offering.

It is for me as well on firefox, especially (mainly!) if I have something in my cart. I then have a very hard time going anywhere else on the website, even if I close that tab and reopen a new one. It worked okay if I empty my cart and to my website browsing first. When I'm done, I added everything in the cart and checkout seemed okay.
