Visitor Toll Pass

Hi all,

Has anyone used the Visitor Toll Pass when they visited Florida? I was just reading about it on the Budget Board. if we can use it as UK visitors, it might be worth a try. We tend to travel around a bit (Wild Florida, the coast even trips down to Miami) so I'd be really interested in anyone's experience.

I have whats now called a sun pass pro - I used to drive a lot more when I visited and this thing is perfect - could use it in multiple hire cars and eventually a lot of out of state tolling systems - you load it up with a modest balance and top up when it runs out. It was about $5 or $10 when I got mine, gone up a bit since ($15 now). It still works fine now 10 years later. It was really easy to set up - from looking online I think the visitors pass is a similar system (although it's a temporary pass available from MCO). If you frequently and drive a bit I would be tempted to pick up the pro transponder but the visitors pass looks pretty good.

Yeah, I used it back in July 2019. It was really easy to collect and all you do is hang the tag on your mirror and drive out of the airport. You can see the tolls appear in your online account and your card is charged a few days after you drop the tag back at MCO.

I've reserved one already for November.
