Depends on the rental company, some of them have a switch you have to have in the correct position, some have a box the rental company's tag has to be slid into, and some only use toll by plate so you don't have to do anything.

If I fly in on a Saturday, but don't pick up my rental car until Tuesday, will I be allowed to pick up a visitor toll pass on Saturday and not use it until Tuesday? Are tolls cheaper using a visitor toll pass vs. a northeast e-zpass?

I finished a trip this week and the Visitor Toll Pass system seemed to work fine, but we have another trip in a month or so and the app is stuck on the return pass page. I can’t seem to add another upcoming trip. Anyone know about this?

Came home monday, IPass worked fine. A little slow to post the transactions but they were all there within a day. I will plan on bringing my own from now on.

I used visitor toll pass last week when I was running around central FL. The pass worked great and I had no issues with them at all. The only small issue I had was that the rearview mirror arm in my rental Hyundai was wider than normal, and the visitor toll pass had to be stretched to fit around it.

I’ve since gotten an email from them the account will “reset” every 21 days. It cannot be used more often than that without creating a new account.
