Visiting the Resorts? Parking question

If I wanted to visit and wander around the resorts (particularly the Hard Rock) do I need to park (and pay) in the parks garage and walk/take the boat or can I park at a resort for an hour or so? and how much does it cost?

You might just have to let them know you are looking at the property to see if you would like to stay there for an upcoming stay. You won't be able to go out to the pool area very easily, they check room keys at the gates but once we arrived a night early and they put us on a list to have access to the pool area since we were going to be guest the rest of the week.

I know some of the resturnats will let you park and validate it if you are eating there so you might call and see if they do and that could be an option too.
