Visiting the Nickelodeon Hotel???

Is it possible for visitors to come to this hotel to check it out and see the characters? Anyone do this? When is the best time to go? When can they be sure to interact with the characters?

Hi,
When we checkin they will put bracelets on all guests. Without them your not allowed to be there. They just sent me an e-mail explaining this to us. we will be there in two weeks. They explained how guests from other Hotels can not come to there hotel and use or enjoy there amenities. I hope I explained this right.

If you are not staying, then I doubt, that as a visitors, you may interact with the characters. You may call the hotel to confirm that.

We stayed there when it was the Holiday Inn Family Suites, have been back since for a look round since the renovation - nobody stopped us and asked what we were doing.
We even spoke to the lady at reception about the changes that had recently been made, it's very much a family hotel and you will not look out of place, especially with children.

Think you do need a special pass for parking though, although there is no security present to stop you entering the hotel in your car.

Wristbands and Security Gates
The resort has received worldwide attention through television, newspapers, magazines, and the internet, and has become a destination of its own. Not only have we attracted folks from all over the world, but many folks from other local hotels and local residents as well. To ensure the facilities are reserved for the exclusive use of our paying guests we have installed security gates at all entrances and require all guests over the age of 4 years old to wear Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn wristbands at all times. Visitors are not allowed to use the amenities of the resort.

I called them yesterday and she said that we could go in for a tour. Thats fine with me, there is a chance we'll see characters while there. I just wanted to go so my kids could get a picture with sponge Bob.
