Visiting Restaurants with no ADR

We are going to be at WDW March 28-April 3. I had planned to get a few ADRs but hubby wants to go with the flow. After careful consideration we decided to cancel the dining plan, especially since our kids must pay adult prices and they both eat like birds. We figure we will do mostly counter service just cause its what the kids like and we dont want to lose park time eating. The only ts restaurants they want to eat at are
Sci Fi Dine In (probably drinks w. glow in the dark cubes and dessert there) We figured we would do this as an afternoon snack kind of thing. Planet Hollywood is another one they want to do but again probably be drinks and appetizers, maybe a dessert, probably afternoon or late evening. The kids want to visit mostly for the atmosphere. Another lunch they want to eat at the rainforest cafe in AK and on another day Lunch at Tonys Town Square. Is it likely that these places wont fill up and we will be able to eat there without reservations?
Thanks
Lora

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you want to get into those places (or any other specific table service restaurants during your stay) you DO need to make ADRs. You just can't count on being able to walk in for any of the restaurants -- you "might" find places that will take you, but they may not be the ones you're hoping to visit.

Bottom line: if you want to go, make the ADR. Hope this helps.
