Visiting Resorts

I'll have a couple hours while in Orlando for business next week, and am very interested in looking at a couple resorts - mainly around the Magic Kingdom. I'm not going into any of the parks, so I'm wondering if they will let me though the MK plaza where you typically buy a praking pass, without actually buying one? Can I get to the Grand Floridian without paying any money?

You should be able to drive up to one of the hotels to see the properties. Just tell the security guard that you are interested in seeing the hotel - they will usually allow you to park, but will tell you a time limit. I did this a few years ago with out any problems.
