Visiting Resorts and DTD question

We will be doing a split stay Nov 26 thru Dec 5. Two nights at Pop and then the rest at PORS. On Sat Nov 27 we wanted to spend the day visiting resorts and maybe DTD.

Should we do DTD first (before the crowds) then go visit resorts? If so, which resort should we go to first? We really wanted to hit the Grand Floridian, WL, and maybe AKL. My sister also wanted to go to the Boardwalk.

Or should we visit the resorts first and then head to DTD? I don't know which resort would be the closest to Pop to start at then work our way toward the rest.

Any help (or opinions) would be appreciated! TIA!

:woohoo:

I would shop early at DTD to avoid the crowds that will increase as the day progresses. When we visited during the Christmas season, we enjoyed the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary as well as Wilderness Lodge, (we also visited the Polynesian - but their display was small in comparison and I was disappointed), we then headed over to the Epcot resorts Beach and Yacht Club (visit both lobbies) and the Boardwalk. We also enjoyed the Animal Kingdom Lodge tree.

I'd say it depends why you want to go to Downtown. If it's to shop or eat, then earlier is better as the crowds are smaller, but if it's to see the entertainment that's on as you walk around, and feel the buzz of the place, then later is better.

For resort visiting, I would definitely do Grand Floridian and Animal Kingdom Lodge, they are wonderful. Boardwalk is lovely for the outside area rather than inside the building.

Have fun
