Visiting Resort Gift Shops

My wife is at CSR this week for a teacher conference. (We were at WDW as a family just a month ago, but I'm still jealous!) Tomorrow is her "free day" and she is wanting to spend part of it visiting the gift shop at the AKL and would also like to walk around the GF and maybe the WL. She will be driving a rental car to the resorts. When she pulls up at the security booth, will they allow her in if she just says she wants to look around the resort or visit the gift shop? Will they just waive her through if she has her CSR parking slip on the dash as she pulls up? She's not planning on staying more than an hour or so at each place. Thanks!

Just curious... anybody else stayed at 4 different WDW resorts in a month? Thought about submitting her to the Guinness world record people, but I'll bet someday's done it before!

Anyone can visit the resorts! She won't have a problem going gift shop hopping, or stopping for a bite to eat! Some might give her a time limit, most will just wave her on through. Sounds like an enjoyable day!

I'm pretty sure the monorail resorts will give you a three hour time limit. Too many people were parking here and taking the resort monorail to the MK I guess.

No problem at all with driving to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and looking around. We do it all the time. Almost backfired when I couldn't get the daughter-in-law to leave!

For the Wilderness Lodge, again, shouldn't be a problem. I would however, take the boat launch to the Magic Kingdom and then either the monorail or the Grand Floridian boat over there. Main reasons are the guards are particular on the monorail loop and the self parking is way far away from the main building.
