I was just wondering if anyone has any input on visiting WDW in November. We are considering the first two weeks for our next visit. We have been there in April and September. Sept. was much too hot! We like average temps. and low crowds. We have a 6 and 7 year old and our last visit was 2001. They have been driving us nuts for another visit so any helpful input would be appreciated so that we can finalize our plans. Thanks in advance for any advice. :bounce:

November is a wonderful time to go. When we went in Nov. there were discount codes giving great prices and the weather was beautiful! I think we had low 80's during the day with pleasant evenings even needing a jacket. One Nov. trip for us we even needed pants during the day.

If you have the choice I would make sure not to go during "Jersey" week which is usually the first week in Nov. simply because the parks will be more crowded than your alternate week.

If you can go anytime in Nov. you might want to consider going just a little later because all the Christmas decorations will be up by the week before Thanksgiving. The crowds will be low but the temperature might also be low so be prepared with some warmer clothes. The daytime temps should be fine but it can get quite chilly at night.

Thanks for the input, just another question...what is "Jersey" week? I have never heard of that before. Thanks again.

"Jersey Week" is usually the first week in November, when all of us from New Jersey go to WDW! :D Our schools are closed, for a least two days, during the convention week. Some are closed for the entire week, so a lot of people, from here, go that week. These are the upcoming convention dates, for those of you who may be planning around the infamous "Jersey Week" http://www.njea.org/NJEAConvention/futuredates.asp

Thanks for the information...how lucky to have a week somewhat designated for you all. Also, I see you are going two different weeks this year...I'm jealous! Have a great trip...both times!!

We were there last Nov 8-16, and loved it! I am planning another trip for us to go in Nov again. The weather was beautiful. It was cool in the morning, but by noon we would go back to our room and put on shorts and t-shirts. It would be cool again when the sun set. The crowds seemed heavier to me than they did when we went in May, but the nice weather made it more pleasant.

We have gone the first week in December these last 2 years...anyone have an idea what the hours for November have been in the past?

Is Food and Wine Fest in November?

We were just there the first week in December and the hours were the same as when we go the first week in November. The Food & Wine Festival does go into November, but I'm not sure when it's over.
