We are debating going to Citywalk for dinner one night. Is it worth it even if you are not going to do Universal at all? It looks much smaller that DtD. We are staying in Bonnet Creek.

It is smaller.

It is a lot of fun...nice atmosphere too. They have amazing mini golf.......two courses, one haunted themed and one alien themed. They are a lot of fun at night seeing them all lit up.

Good choice of restaurants too......something for everyone. Couple of clubs and nice bars. Some nights they have live music too, and it is family orientated too.......it's not wild and out of control.......definitely recommend it :thumbsup2

Citywalk is nice but parking is a pain. After paying for parking, you will be directed to one of the parking garages, and depending on how busy it is, may have to park far from the walkway. Then it is still a long trip to clear security in the central hub and then another long walk or ride to Citywalk.

Parking is $17 per car, free if someone in the car has an annual pass. They use to discount parking after 6pm for folks who only wanted Citywalk but I'm not sure if that is still the case.

We much prefer the "vibe" at CityWalk over DTD. Citywalk is smaller and doesn't have as many shopping opportunities, but its picturesque and fun. A great place to catch a game of mini golf or even a dinner and a movie (Universal has two great programs: meal & mini golf and movie & mini golf.....both very, very good values that you might want to check out).

Unlike a PP indicated, we find the parking to be much, MUCH easier than at DTD. The parking lots are well laid out and very efficient at getting you into the parks. They even have moving walkways to whisk you down to the Citywalk entrance if you don't feel like exercising your legs. Every time we (finally) park the car at DTD, we always remark that we wished it was laid out like Universal!

Thanks for all the advice. Is there somewhere to see the parking price schedule?

I remember FL resident used to park for free after 6pm. I hope that didn't go away.
