Visiting 1/26 - 2/2/08 Any crowd guesses?

We will be in the parks for the first time EVER!! on January 26 - Feb 2. just ondering if anyone had a guess on how crowded the parks may be, what kind of wait times for the rides and if anyone else would be there at the same time. Don't have a LGMH shirt, but I will be the one with the goofy grin embarrassing my teen DD by constantly doing the happy dance in the park complete with mouse ears! can't miss me

We'll be there from Jan. 27-31. We usually go a week earlier in January but we've never been disapointed at this time of year. Crowd levels are great. No more than 20 minute waits for the most part.

We will also be there from the 26th to Feb 2nd. We go the same week every year and the crowds are not bad at all........... We are staying at ASMU in a family suite this year. Last year we stayed at Pop Century.

oh i hope so too!! we are going 24th to the 1st....and so excited! I left teaching and this is the biggest perk, going to Disney anytime I want!!

I work for a school district but at the admistrative office so I can go when I want also. When I worked in a school it was hard because I had to pay higher prices and fight the crowds. We cruise also on the off times to save money.

We'll be there 1/26-2/1. We're hoping for low crowds too. We usually go this time of the year and it's never a long wait. We only have to use fast passes for Soarin.

we're going feb 2-5 to get away during mardi gras...i hope the crowds are light also we went to universal studios for mardi gras last year so don't know how it is at disney during this time

we will also be there these dates. In the past the day after MLK the paqrks crowds are very low and even asked if we wanted to keep ridding, on test track, space mountain.

I don't know.........it sounds like a bunch of US will be there.......we are there from 1/24 - 1/27 and also hoping for low crowds and good weather!

Ha- I hear ya! I am a teacher and am taking Jan 25- Feb 2 to go to Disney- even pulling my kids out of school too ! However, there is a long history behind this trip and this is something I don't do often. This is only my second time in 11 years taking time out of actual school days for a vacation. Our district isn't too strict though. We just have to use our 3 personal days and take 2 without pay and the kids' absences are excused as long as you tell them ahead of time and discuss it with administration. So, here's to the countdown!!!

I took my DD for a long weekend at the end of January several years ago(I
think it was Super Bowl weekend), we stayed at POR and I have a picture of
her in the big pool and it was deserted. Nobody else in the picture AT ALL.
Very light crowds. It was the year the castle looked like a birthday cake!

We have made trips during the last 4 years in January and the crowds have been great. They are so good, in fact, that we are heading to saratoga springs in 15 days. Hope you have fun!
