visit wedding pavillion at GF?

Does anyone know if it's possible to just go look at the wedding pavillion, providing there isn't a ceremony in progress? How do you go about doing it?
Also...is the ladybug release open to guests not staying at GF?

A few years ago we did this. The pavillion is so beautiful. We just walked up to it and one of the doors was open so we went in. I would just walk over there and look around.

I stayed at the Grand Floridian in January and walked by the Wedding Pavilion quite a few times. When there wasn't a ceremony going on, the gates were closed and you couldn't get close.

Anyone can participate in the ladybug release. Is there one at the GF? I know there is at the Ploynesian dn WL...

As far as the wedding chapel, it seems that 99% of the time when there's no ceremony the gates are closed. But every now and then you luck out and the gates and a door will be open. We did (lucked out) about a year ago, and it is gorgeous inside

We've been able to walk in and take a look, too. It is beautiful with the castle framed perfectly.

I thought the ladybug release programs at both GF and the Polynesain were no longer being held. We're just back from the Polynesian and BCV...I'll have to check my brochure.

DH and I got married at the WP. Every time we've been back since the wedding (or while we were engaged) we have been able to walk into the Pavilion when there is no wedding or rehearsal going on. Even if the gates are closed, be sure to check, because they might not be locked.

It will be worth it! Good luck.

My husband and I watched the Wedding Pavilion being built during one of our GF vacations. I remember telling him that one day I would love to have our vow renewal ceremony there. That seems like such a long time ago.

We have stayed at the GF many times since those days but have never gotten around to actually visiting the Wedding Pavilion. For our upcoming vacation, however, that will change. We have an appointment at Franck's Bridal Studio since we have officially booked our vow renewal ceremony for our Fall vacation. I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally get the opportunity to see the inside of the Wedding Pavilion (click here). I’m sure it will take my breath away and leave me wistful for my Fall vacation when I finally get to say “I do” all over again to my husband. I feel like a kid again.

I have never visited the WP but I have driven past it. I have seen many pictures of it on the 'net, it is beautiful. I want to get married there someday. I have to find my Prince Charming first.
