Hi
ime wondering how many out there are confused with the Visa rules and wether Going to USA again in next 2 years will be applying for a visa or going on the waiver form.

This will be dependant on George W Bush and what decision his government will take in October 2005. It is pretty obvious that this countries passport system for new biometric type will in no way be ready for October 2005, working for the Government I know the history of the company who will likely do the work so I would say you are looking at 2006/2007 before we are. This is well known to the US Government aswell as the plight of other countries hence the reason to delay in October 2004. Lets hope they will be realistic in the next review of the situation and allow the extra time.

Whether the new biometric will allow them to access certain information on individuals attempting to enter the US in realtime will only be know nearer the time, if yes then there is no need for a waiver in my eyes. if you have been happy completing the waiver incorrectly now, I wouldnt be if i was you at that point. If they cant I am sure there will be a waiver in place.

Hi We have biometric passports. we used waiver on last trip but its come to light that we should not of used the waiver last time and need to get a visa this time ime considering cancelling our holiday In 2006

Is this one of the volunteer passports they have issued ? afaik that is the only way they have been issued so far. I am amazed at this due to the fact they want everyone on them. Making you get a visa too doesn't make sense.
I would contact the US immigration via there website e-mail, this can be anonymous if you wish as they say they dont keep a record of queries made.

Ime a bit confused should i have not had biometric passports this is a red passport that thay put through machine to read we got thes almost 3 years ago

Hi cochise

I have just checked on your other thread, on HERE and yes my passport is machin readable

EDIT

You should be able to travel on the MRP and VWP till its expirey, so if you have had this 3 years then you have 7 left.
