I was wondering if you still have to fill in the visa waiver form on the plane to the United states ?
I've filled in the Esta forms but just wondered if the form on the film is still needed ?
If so what are these forms called ?

We had to fill in a form to declare if we were carrying any types of produce and ask if we were carrying over a certain amount of money.

no you don't need a visa waiver if you have an esta but you will still need to complete a white customs form.

The ESTA replaces the green visa waiver form but you will still need to complete the blue and white customs form on the plane. You have to submit your application and pay the fee to the US border agency before you go, as long as all is well, you will get pretty much instant confirmation that you were cleared to travel.

On a side note its only $14 per ESTA so if you get asked for more you are on the wrong website. I follow the link on my airlines website so I know I'm on the right site.

Thats OK unless an airline has a deal with site making money. I don't know of an airline but I have a friend who was given a money making ESTA link at a local travel agent.

I just got an email from Delta who we are flying with next month, includes a link to get an ESTA. Really difficult to find out the cost of using this service but I found this:
CIBT service fees are per application and are exclusive of VAT, Consular fees and third party fees
US Tourist ESTA £20.00

I am not filling in all the details to find out a final cost but looks like £20 +vat.

Posted just to confirm not to use airline links, only use the official link.

I just think that you should be able to trust the company you booked your flights with. Obviously I am too trusting.

the only link for ESTA is the Department of Homeland Security webpage for CBP (Customs and Border Protection)

make sure it has the "s" trailing the http as it shows it's a secure connection
