Visa SPD & room only for beginning of 2015 are out!

I think Marathon weekend is keeping prices high.

Definitely noticed this too. And Y&BC are pretty booked that weekend, so almost nothing available even at rack rate. I was able to get a deluxe club level room at about 8% discount.

If I am hoping to get spd when it's released to gp should I reserve a room now. Would like POR since Fq isn't available.

Booked our honeymoon this morning at WL, woods view from Jan 19-27. Wanted a king at POFQ but it wasn't part of the discount for room only...WL was, and it was close to $1000 off rack rate for eight nights :)

I've already been holding for 30 minutes!

Our current reservations are 12-13 through 12-21 @ WL CL and 8 day hoppers paid in full. I wonder what the chances are that I'll be able to add back the dining that I cancelled a month ago?

Did you pick the prompt that says 'change resort reservation'? I did that twice and once I got through (maybe 7 tries each time) I only waited a minute or 2 for someone to pick up.

So what's the likelihood that this discount will "sell out" by Thursday (when, presumably, the offer will open to the general public) for POR? Does that happen often?

Wondering this too =/

 No.Such.Luck

I've paid in full $4860. I'd have to book a room only for the 13th and then the Stay-Play-Dine package would come to $5973.

I'm disappointed.

On hold right now, checking to see if I can save even more money on my POR Dec 15-23 resie.

Did it not make sense for you to do it that way? Was it a savings?

It won't "sell out," but you may not get the resort or the room (preferred room, standard view, etc.) that you want.

The resorts that fill up fast may not have any discounted rooms available when you call, is all. Just be ready to call on Thursday.

Here's the breakdown on the current deal, which will likely be the same on Thursday:

What if I have a reservation 3/27-3/30. Will I get the discount on 2 nights or just 1 night? Will I have to do a separate reservation and possibly have to move rooms for that last night? Thanks!

The original 9 nights WL CL with 8-day hoppers & dining was $5830. I dropped dining and brought the price down to $4860. This "discounted" package to add dining back would be $5973!!! It would be cheaper to add dining at full price, I think

Goes through March 28 so you should get two nights. You will need a separate reservation for the last 2 nights and you may have to change rooms.

I agree, in the couple of days or so it will take for the deals to open up to the general public, Port Orleans Riverside should not sell out of the available discounts. In that past I have seen deal availability at POR for quite some time after first announced as it is a large resort.

Did you ask about a room only discount?

What phone number are people getting thru on. I just get all lines are busy...

I finally got thru. Once it connected it wasn't a long wait at all.

We are looking at 6 nights at POR end Jan to beginning Feb with 5 day tickets.
S/P/D brought the price down from $3767 to $3240. So about 14%. Disappointing to me.
Room only brought are price from $1132 to $964. Only 15%. Not sure how that is the case since the promotion says 25%/20% for mods. Again a bit disappointing.

This is a totally spontaneous trip and won't happen if I don't keep it under a certain price. I didn't book either but will call back.

Thank you both for your answer!

Luckily, my travel agent (disney specialist) is on top of things. This gives me hope! :cool1:

does anyone know what the discount for WL is? 25 or 30%

Also how do I know which will save me more? we are going for 14 nights, Jan24-feb7th and will be getting a 10 day park hopper ( possibly upgrade to AP later one) We weren't planning on getting the meal plan but if its a better deal to get it then we will...

WL is 30%. I have a WL CL reservation for 2/22 - 3/25 and the SPD option worked out to be $43.00 more than the room only discount. I ended up getting adding dining to my reservation and it was still less expensive than rack rate by $98.00.

What if I already have a room booked but just want to apply the SPD discount to that room? Should I have any trouble doing that?
