Visa SPD & room only for beginning of 2015 are out!

Disney Visa promotion.
S/P/D
I was able to apply it to my existing reservation, but POFQ was not included. I had to switch resorts to Port Orleans Riverside. I had to put $200 on my Disney card towards my existing reservation.

Price went from 2787.97 to 3600.10 with S/P/D because I added dining to the reservation. Had I added dining to my existing reservation, the price would have been $4,425.25

There was also a discounted room price which was 15% off at POFQ.

We have two adults and one teenager.

My dates are January 23-February 1.

Did your price include QS or standard dining? I'm going with 4 adults 1/22-31, and if we do dining plan at all, it will be standard, but we're trying to figure out we can afford a moderate, or if we have to stay at Pop (where our room only res is right now).

I called and spoke to a different CSM and they applied the discount. I had already booked Quick Service and POP! so I wound up saving only about $242 but it's better than nothing!

I don't know percentages but we are staying at POFQ, 8 nights with dining and hoppers, and for us the room only discount was the better option by about an extra $100.

I didn't think to inquire about other resorts or what the exact discount rate was, I was just happy to get it for our trip since I knew we'd be cutting it close for any discount with our dates, and then I was in a hurry to get it done and call the DW before she got to work to put that little spring in her step.

I'm not even sure because I called once and the CSM told me there was nothing available, and then I called again about fifteen minutes later and the woman helped me. I already had a bare bones package booked (value resort, no hopper, QS dining) so I'm guessing that's why I only saved $242, but it's better than nothing. I'd have upgraded but we're going there for the Princess Half and we're running multiple races so we need to maximize our time and I just don't see us spending a ton of time at the resort.

We were allowed to book without tickets. Mainly wanted a chance to stay there before we were too big for it.

Only Lion King and Cars was available for our dates.

Just saved $882 using SPD for our January 16-25th trip at POR!!!

I checked first on the disney visa site and saw nothing but she was able to apply the package code to our reservation without issue. Oddly, nothing was changed reservation number wise/etc and I didn't have to place any additional deposit (?)

She did say there was a different code that was showing for POFQ, not sure the details though as we have always been planning for POR
