Visa required for speeding points?

DH has aquired 3 points on his licence for speeding!!

Would he need to apply for a visa aswell as Esta before we go on our trip?

He didnt have to go to court or wasnt arrested - 34mph in a 30mph zone.

Great Thanks - thats a weight off my mind - would there be anything on the Esta that he would need to declare it - obvoiusly we would need to tell the car hire company.

they ask to see your paper part anyway dont they so they'll see anyway?

im fairly sure Dollar wanted to see my paper part last time

Expected to show car hire company - just needed to know if DH require visa to enter country.

Rented over 30 cars in US, about 25 with Dollar/Thifty group incl twice last month, never been asked to show paper part yet.
There was a thread a couple of months back on another forum about it, if I remember correctly lots posted but not one had been asked to show their paper part.
If you have to show or not 3 points won't matter to Immigration or car rental.

i doubt they even know there is a paper part.....
i know they have no clue what they're looking at when i show them my license.....they just write down the number...they really don't seem to care one way or the other...
