Has anybody gotten the Disney Visa free dining package for Xmas RECENTLY? I'm still thinking about it and wondering if it's too late?

That offer is still good. I just asked about it yesterday to see about upgrading and there was still good availability.

CAn someone remind me, what is the last day you can check in with that deal?

does the meal plan continue through your whole stay if you arrive by 12-20-08. also, is there anyway you can check that availability onlone?

Yes, the meal plan continues as long as you check in by 12/20. No way to check availability online, you have to call in.

I still can't believe that WDW is offering the free dining over Christmas. What a deal!! This is one time of year I love to see the decorations but can't bring myself not to be home. Have wonderful times over Christmas!!

Exactly! I couldn't believe it either and was sure that the offer would be sold out for 12/20 check-ins. It wasn't sold out and my kids will only miss 1/2 day of school so we're spending Christmas at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe it!

Have a great time!! It is quite the deal. We went late Sept/beginning Oct for almost nothing!! We have AP and now we have the 1 day ticket to make the cost a lot cheaper for a new one

we made a reservation yesterday for dec. 15-20 and they had all star sports open and coronado springs. i don't ever make late reservations like this but we couldn't pass up this great deal during the holidays. i made our adrs yesterdays and got some really good restaurants.

Thanks! We had FD in August and it was great. In fact, we'll use our 1 day tickets from that trip for this one (in addition to the one we need to buy). We don't really need to be going again so soon ;) , but I really feel like the planets aligned for this deal -- free dining, kids only miss 1/2 day of school, Christmas at WDW, and ADRs at most of our usual places!

Has anyone tried to make "good" dining reservations for TS meals? I called to check a few dates for LeCellier and Coral Reef without much luck. What has your experience been like?

We were not able to get into LeCellier or Coral Reef but we weren't flexible on our date -- 12/25 only. They had space for a party of 5 at Coral Reef, but we're a party of 6. We were able to get a CP Package at Restaurant Marrakesh and we're looking forward to try it for the first time!

We were able to get into Kona, Cape May Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, Boma, and Maya Grill so we're happy campers! :thumbsup2
