Visa At-Par special not so special !!

Hello from a Canadian friend

3 weeks ago i got a 7 night reservation at CSR with Dream Maker Package, the price 2001$, the price with the special At-Par Visa discount 1381$

Now today i called in to add on the Silver plan, the price 2953$, the price the lady gave me with the At-Par discount 2198$ !!

2198$ is just wrong, it should be 2037$ with the At-Par discount.

The math:
2001*0.69=1381
2953*0.69=2037

Now i was on the phone for a hour trying to figure out why they where chargin me 2198$ insteed of 2037$. The lady was nice and could not explain to me why it was more. She just said that my math was wrong and that the price that came from her computer was correct. After 30min she transfer the call to someone else (superior ?) who still could not explain to me why i was paying more.

Can anyone help me ??

The add on part of the package is not discounted. A wish costs $32 no matter what the rest of the package costs. I hope that answers your question

Ok, if that is correct then:

32$ times 2 whises per day times 2 people times 7 nights

so thats 32*2*2*7=896

But the new price i got is 2198

The old price without Silver was for 1381, so if you add 896 to 1381 comes to 2277 !

BTW the lady said that the At-Par discount was on the total of my bill INCLUDING Silver or any other Dream Maker packages.

The Silver Plan costs $68 per adult and $35 per child per night for 2004

About 4 weeks ago, I had the thought to change my existing reservation to the at-par-deal.

The CM i talked to stated that only the room and passes are part of the at par promotion. If you add airfare, a rental car, transfers or add on package elements they are not included.

The firgures never seem to work at out. But she was very confident in the information she was giving me, and she spent about a half an hour with me, just finding out prices.

I think your difference is coming in with the pricing of the additional wishes. Per adult the wishes are $67 per adult per night booked for 2003. For 2 adults at 7 nights that would increase your pricing by $938. You didn't indicate if you have any children traveling or what dates--but this might help explain the difference.
