Thanks for the warm wishes and good thoughts.

We are thrilled with our new home.

Since our closing on Friday, we have purchased a new washer / dryer, a new fridge, a new stove, a new kitchen faucet and picked out entry tile and hardwood floors.

We now have to find a painter, an electrician, a plumber, someone to install a fence, add a porch.

Then we can move in.

We signed mortgage papers the other day and everything was fine until I saw that our final payment will be due in February 2041.

Once I caught my breath.....we finished signing.

In 2041, I will be 82.

I'm freaking myself out all over again.

Breath....breath....breath

Kevin, I'm a great painter but the commute is a bit far. I know working vacations are all the rage but my vacation days are accounted for. I seem to be spending a great deal of time on Disney ships this year.
