Hello all, I just wanted to inform everyone of a an event that I am hosting as part of my fundraising for the Dopey Challenge in Disney.
It is the Turkey Hunt 5k for Autism Speaks. It is meant to be a fun run or walk with prizes for best execution of the theme as voted upon by the participants. The theme is the "Turkey Hunt" like the name says. Be as creative as you want. You can dress like a turkey, snap a picture of a turkey you see while running or run while eating a Turkey leg. Be creative and have fun with it, it is mean to be fun to help out a great cause.
The entry fee is $25 and all participants will receive a medal. In addition to an autographed Hal Higdon novel and a prize pack of supplies from GU Energy I am offering 4 separate prize drawings for every 25 registrants. That means the sooner you register he more chances you have to win.
The registration prizes are an Orb massage ball, a foam roller, and a travel size massage roller, all form PRO-TEC, and a dozen socks in the winners size from Swiftwick socks.
