Virgin upgrade

Hello

I am wanting to upgrade with virgin for our trip next year to PE has anyone got it cheaper anyway? I have been quoted £195.00 each for one way. Has anyone done any better?

£195 is quite a good price, if your flying with virgin holidays then thats probably the best price you will get, you could try in the airport on the day but PE is very popular and the normal price on the day is £199 anyway!

I doubt you will get it any cheaper, so I would go for it if I were you.

That is a great price compared to what I have been quoted in the past, but that was in the school summer holidays. I remember Virgin doing a deal a while back for travellers at a particular time (NOT school holidays, LOL) and while I don't recall the details I think it was cheaper than your price.

That is a very good price and I seriously doubt you will get better. We have paid far more.

Trying to upgrade on the day is no use since they they told us they charge the standard rate then and so it will definitely be more.

The only way that you MAY beat that for price is to independently price you holiday (looking at things like Expedia, www.opodo.co.uk and www.airline-network.co.uk for the PE flights).

To be honest the upgrade price (to a package, I assume) looks pretty reasonable, but it is often worth pricing independently to compare costs anyway...

It can depend on when you are flying, we upgraded for the return flight home in August and are paying £295 each for 2 adults and £197.65 for Josh, so your price is cheaper than my little boy's.

Ive just upgraded to PE and considering we fly home on New Years Day, when I thought prices would be expensive, Ive got all 6 of us (inc baby!!) for £695 (return flight) which I thought was good. I got it for £179 (adults) and £110 (kids) last year with my FV discount. Thats the max I would pay to be honest - nice as it is, I dont think it warrants any more. The main reason Ive done it this year though, is the 32kg baggage as we will be taking a lot (over 3 weeks this time) and bringing back a lot!!
