I'm still looking to buy our 'Orlando Flex Tickets Plus' and Virgin's prices seem to be much cheaper than elsewhere at £146 & £136 for Feb 09.
Can I purchase these tickets through virgin although we have not booked our holiday with them?? If so how?? I tried the Virgin Holiday website and it asked my allsorts of questions re holiday insurance etc (as if I were booking a complete holiday) and then said I couldn't continue :confused3

Any advice greatfully recieved :goodvibes

I booked my Seaworld ticket through them without having booked anything else.

You pay £1 per person which I guess is some sort of booking fee, this reads as if its some sort of insurance. If you just fill in how many adults and children there are in your party and then go to the next part it becomes abit clearer. Am i making any sense at all :rotfl2:

When you get to the payment screen if you dont like what's there just cancel at that point before entering card details

Yep, added the £1 per person bit, added the tickets we wanted and then it went on to taking all of our names etc and asking who our insurance provider was and before I could get the payment page, it said that I had 'encountered a problem'.... :rotfl:

Perhaps I'll try again at home later now I know it's possible :thumbsup2

Thanks for your reply :goodvibes

:cool1: It worked this time

Must have been the way I was holding my face :rotfl: :lmao:

Argh!! you already booked. Did you get 10% off with FVC?

Just seen them cheaper at Charter Travel.

Oh POO!!!:headache:

And whats FVC??? I'm a member of the flying club and entered my details but it didn't have any bearing on the price.....

Not sure if it's too late to cancel with Virgin and how I would/could go about it....

Anyhow, I guess as everyone says, I was happy with the price at the time I bought them...............

Thanks anyway Wayne :goodvibes

Membership to the Frequent Virgin Club is by invitation only. In order to join the Frequent Virgin Club you must book a minimum of two direct holidays within a 4 year period with a total spend of £6,000 or more*
Not easy for us to stay in it now as we do mostly DIY hols. I think if you join now you only get 5% off bbut us thats been in it for years still get 10% (or I did with Tickets I bought last month)

I doubt its worth cancelling. Just check out Charter travels prices in future, I have never used them as FVC discount makes Virgin cheaper but they are very competative just now

Again, thanks anyway Wayne.

TBH the thought of trying to go through the process of cancelling something with Virgin seems like more trouble than it's worth :rotfl: and as I say, I am pretty happy with the prices I got.

We always do DIY hols too these days so no chance of us joining the FVC....

Thanks for your trouble :goodvibes
