Sam - only comment I would make about seating upstairs is if you really want to recline your seat, don't get rows 74 - we did (although we were glad cos it meant no-one kicking the back of my seat as normal

). With this row, the chairs don't recline as much as others.
Row 75 is the best - exit row - but these can only be booked at check-in (we changed to row 75 for Darryl on our return journey because we got lucky and got to Miami airport real early

- it's always worth a try when you check-in though).
Perks - board the plan whenever you want; use the lounge at Gatwick (we didn't cos Katie's not old enough); champagne/OJ or water once you're up in PE; because there's less people it's less noisy (I thought both in terms of people noise and airplane noise); food comes round real quick and you tend to get what you ask for

; get off the plane first (they were holding back economy when we left and nothing beats coming down those stairs while everyone else is being made to wait

; your luggage comes off first with Upper Class and at Orlando you have your own special carousel

. In the cabin you have more room; a locker by the window seat which is invaluable for stashing handbag/newspapers/magazines/bottles of water; for those of us more womanly in proportion, the seats are wider (although when you've got a fat bum like me they all feel the same

).
ENJOY - we did
