I disagree with this - we much prefer the PE experience on the airbus planes, despite the fact the PE cabin isn't in the bubble

The PE cabin on the airbus planes is not dissimilar to the atmosphere in the bubble - you get your own crew and the cabin is very quiet, spacious and peaceful. The new leather seats and cushion foot-rests are much more comfortable than the old tatty fabric seats found on the LGW fleet.

You can't compare the downstairs PE on LGW planes with the PE on the LHR planes, since the latter is very different not only in ambience and style but the fact it has dedicated cabin crew, too.

I'm not in a position to argue with any of this since we haven't experienced LHR PE since the inception of the new service/seats.

Will let you know in just over 9 weeks as we are flying PE on the LHR - IAD in PE on the airbus and can compare to the LHR - SFO PE from 3 years ago when it was upstairs on the 747.
