We normally fly Virgin PE, but like many other people, the prices are rather high.

I have been considering flying with other airlines in their version of PE but don't know what they are like. Can anyone recommend another company or give comparisons.

Thanks everyone.

Also check Business class, we flew Delta Biz class last year. On the day I booked VA wanted £1,300 for economy, £1,700 for PE, I paid £1,170 for Biz class.

Delta also do a new service called Economy Comfort, extra legroom, 50% more recline etc, we are trying it for 1st time next August, cost £38(Silver medallion discount should be £50 full price) to upgrade the transatlantic leg from New York to MAN.

We have flown BA WT+, Virgin PE and Delta Business Class (to Miami).
The Virgin product is much superior to the BA one with more space, better food, better service etc but both are surpassed by the Delta Business Class, as you would expect.
We booked in May to go out to Miami in early August, returning mid September and the comparative prices were roughly £800 for economy on all three, £1,300 for WT+ and PE but only £1,250 for the Delta Business Class.
We are going to Miami next month on a one way cruise, returning early December, and the return flight is on Virgin. When we enquired about upgrading to PE for Miami/LHR the quote was £299 each so we declined.
On the Business Class flights, I was looking at prices for a trip next May/June and the Delta quote was £2,500 each so I guess they are only super competitive in the summer months when regular business demand is low.
