I have a couple of questions about this please

If you check in on-line do you print your boarding pass? The reason why I am thinking about it is that if we do online check-in for the journey home we will do this in our room, but will not have access to a printer.

Also if you do this when you arrive at the airport either Gatwick or MCO is there a place for bag drop? Do you need to queue to show them your tickets?

You can get you boarding passes printed of at bag drop. you have to queue for bag drop anyway so just as easy getting them to print them for you. (the queue is much shorter than the main check in desks)

When you check in online for the journey home you don't get an option to print your boarding pass anyway.

I printed our boarding cards outbound journey and on checking in the chap gave us new ones as he said home printed ones often cause problems and he was proved right once we were on board.

Can you use online check in and twilight check in together and how does it work?

Often you'll find the queue for online bag drop is longer than regular check-in. Even if you've checked in online, just join whichever is the shorter of the two. Checking in online saves absolutely no time at the desk, but it does mean you can sort out your seat allocation 24 hours before you fly. There's still no cast iron guarantee, but it helps.

We invariably do both online and Twilight on the way out (and it's also possible to do both online and Downtown Disney on the return journey). Just check-in online and then proceed to the Twilight or DTD check-in desks as normal.
