Virgin Online check-in (There and back)

Anyone done the on-line check in with Virgin?
If so, how did it go? Does it work on the way back so that you can avoid the queue at the Downtown Disney check-in?

Did it on the way out, no problem, took a little time as i only have a slow modem at home and i had to check in thirteen of us, did not do it on the way back as i had no internet connection, but we arrived at DTD check in at 11am and there was no queue at all, checked straight in.

I did it for the journey over - no problems, very useful. But for the journey home, finding an internet connection would have been more hassle than going to DTD. We only queued for about 20 minutes, plus they were able to tell us that our flight was delayed by an hour. So we stayed at Disney a bit longer than originally planned, and didn't have to hang around the airport for that extra hour.

Thanks. We'll definitely be doing it on the way over and possibly on the way back if the hotel has an internet connection somewhere.

Where is the check in desk at Gatwick? Is it just alongside the normal ones?

we are planning to use this facility in June, do they guarantee that the seats you select on line are the ones you will defintely have?
