Just found some Virgin midweek flights during March 2015 on NETFLIGHTS flying Manchester to MCO from £363 plus 2% credit card fee.

Example: Departing on Tuesday 3rd March returning either Tuesday 17th or 24th March.
03 March 2015 Duration: 9 hrs 25 mins - Direct flight - Economy Class Virgin Atlantic
Depart: 11:15 Manchester, UK (MAN)
Arrive: 15:40 Orlando Intl, Florida - USA (MCO)

17 March 2015 Duration: 6 hrs 50 mins - Economy Class Virgin Atlantic
Depart: 19:45 Orlando Intl, Florida - USA (MCO)
Arrive: 07:35 +1 Day Manchester, UK (MAN)
Per person price £362.49

Weekend flights in March from around £403.

Virgin's web site currently showing £433.49 for those same midweek flights, so I wonder if there's a Virgin sale in the pipeline?

Quidco has a 1.3% saving for Netflight bookings.

Hopefully there's a sale coming up, I'm looking for April 2015 flights and getting around £610-620 at the moment!

Just rechecked on Netflights and looks like Virgin prices have increase from £363 to £394 for mid-week flights and to £434 for weekend flights, wonder if this was a glitch?

Follow up on a Netflights bookings.

We were luck to stumble upon those low Netflight prices last Tuesday evening and book two direct Virgin flights from Manchester to MCO at a price including a credit card fee of £369.74 per seat.

We received a confirmation invoice within minutes and a Quidco email within the hour to say our purchased had tracked with a cash-back of £9.42, but this won't be paid until 8-12 weeks after our flights.

With 24-hours we received an ELECTRONIC TICKET PASSENGER TRAVEL DOCUMENT AND RECEIPT which lists a Netflights Invoice Number, a Galileo/Booking reference number and more importantly an Airline 6-digit information number which you'll need to gain access to Virgin's 'Manage my Booking'.

We've since entered our frequent flyer number and advance passenger information, so now the long wait to assigned our seat's.

The current price for the same flights: £403 on Netflights and £434 on Virgin's web-site.

Whatever happened to Virgin's price guarantee which still states 'You won't find the same Virgin Atlantic flight price for less anywhere else online. If you've booked a flight and found a cheaper price, fill in the form to get a price match'?

The fare code on our Netflight booking was 'O' and that's the same class that Virgin current quotes for their £434 seat price.

So if you normally book directly on Virgin Atlantic's web site as we use to then it might be worth checking against other sites such as Kayak or Skyscanner.

Can't remember last time I booked direct with VA, unless using miles then I always find cheaper elsewhere. This year cheapest way was thru Orbitz.com and paid in $'s, saved over £100pp compared with any UK agent or direct with VA.

I know 2 or 3 people who have tried to use the price match but all claims turned down.

We have booked our Virgin Flights with Orbitz for next year. We are going May half term for 2 weeks and paid £630 per Adult for our flights. We preferred the early flight out which is usually more on VA but was the same price with Orbitz. The same flights direct with Virgin are currently £862! Crazy!

Our VA flight in March this year was booked with miles and last year we tried Aer Lingus but unless I'm mistaken I'm sure in 2012 Virgin prices were the same or even lower than any other sites selling Virgin flights. And if there's been a change then isn't Virgin miss-selling by stating you can't get it less on line?

Thanks for the heads up on Orbitz, just checked for a price and the same direct flights are $731.20, about £434, with indirect on United at $617, about £368.

Just rechecked Netflights and VA has gone up again, so that's gone from £363 last Tuesday when we booked, to £394 on Wednesday, £403 this morning and now £434.

Clearly, checking flights daily and on different sites does pay off.

They don't say you can't get it for less. They say:
"We're confident you won't find the same Virgin Atlantic flight for less on any other UK website. If you've booked a flight and found a cheaper price online, we'll match it, as long as your claim adheres to the criteria in our checklist below."

Trouble is their criteria is so strict they almost always find something to deny the claim. I would never book and try claim with them, just book where it's cheaper.
