Virgin iPhone App?

Has anyone used the Virgin iPhone app to check in?

Can you choose your seat with it as well?

Hi, I have booked Virgin going just after you and managed to prebook seats through the website if no app available x

I think the app is only for virgin America customers.

Tried to check in using the app last time but gave up as I kept losing signal so still don't know how it works - will try again this time though as our window opens while I am heading to LGW

I probably will not use it to check in just in case it goes wrong on me. but it would be handy to know if it works in case we need it in the future.

I'm currently using it to check whether VS027 gets away on time each day and what aircraft type it is. We will be travelling on a Friday and generally they use a 747 for this flight....so hopefully we will be up in the bubble in our PE seats!

PS The games on it are pretty rubbish though!

Im flying out VS027 on 24th July and went to manage my booking on Virgin Holidays site and showed me seat layout for plane im travelling out on, it was a airbus a300 so might be worth a look as should tell you x

It shows a 747 seat plan for the return flight but still nothing for the outgoing flight.

This may be because we are going out Premium Economy?
